Hi all:
When I was young I was told that you could not go to sinful places because if you did then God would leave. They believed
that when you went to sinful places God jumped out because HE could not be in the presence of sin, so God was always jumping
out of them. That explains why they had no power in their life, for they had a sin consciousness and that mindset of sin is
still with us. God says we should have no more consciousness of sin. However, people have been so consumed with the regulations
that they forgot that they have a relationship. If they focused on the relationship then God would become real to them and
they would be able to share a living Jesus and not a dead Christ. Jesus is alive but is He alive in your life!
Your sin died on the cross. God took your sin and crucified it
while you were his enemy Rom 5. God crucified his son for you while you were his enemy. God paid the price for your salvation
when he was mad at you, so what will God do for you now that He is pleased with you! When God is mad at you he does not take
out His anger at you but at His son, and now how will God bless you now that Jesus saved you from God's wrath. Jesus did
not save you from the devil but saved you from God by becoming the sacrifice that pleased God. HE saved you on that old rugged
cross. A good video about this is at http://home.att.net/~sheryl14/SPIRITUALBELIEVE/believe.html God died for you so you could live with Him You are worthy because God made you worthy. God is so pleased with you that He can now live in you. He gave
you a deposit on the Heavenly reward you have by living in you. Think about the fact that God spent 1 day creating the man
and woman and look how beautiful people look after the fall, ( imagine how beautiful they were before the fall) and yet God
spent 2,000 years working on your mansion. Your mansion must look exquisite. It must be amazing looking. You are worth so
much to God. You were worth so much that He took His son and executed Him so you could live. Tell me, how many of you would
execute your child so that an enemy could live? How many of you would execute your child so a friend could live? What
is worth the life of your child? God says that His child's life is worth the eternal life of his enemies. Think about
what that means Jesus did not save you from the wrath of the devil but Jesus saved you from the wrath of God. Jesus saved
you from God. We have been looking at gifts
of the Spirit and what they are. We have found that the word there for gifts means grace. God gave you his grace and keeps
giving you graces upon graces. God's grace was not only what HE gave you because of Calvary. God shares His grace with
you every day of your life. God's grace is an ongoing thing in your life. God's grace saved you and keeps you every
day of your life.God is constantly giving to you. God's gifts are not limited but are unlimited. they are not just the
9 gifts of the spirit or your motivational gift or just the fruit of the spirit. God's grace is abundant to you.
Do not see yourself not as a sinner anymore, but as the righteousness of God that is only found in the blood soaked cross
of Jesus Christ. Have no consciousness of sin. Be free from sin for God freed you from it. Walk in the mindset that sin no
longer exists in you for God lives in you. God lives in you and that gives you a surety that you can count on.
God's assurance to you is that He lives in you.That is God's deposit
of all that He promises to you for all eternity. How do you know that Jesus is coming soon? You know that because God lives
in you! How do you know that you have a mansion waiting for you in Heaven? Because God sent His presence and confirms His
Word to you by the Spirit. When you feel the Spirit move in your life then you know that God will perform your word. God says
that His presence in you is your assurance that everything that He promised to you will come true. So the next time that you feel God move in your life, then know that means that the Bible is true and
Heaven is real, for you will be with God forever. Amen!

TO all: We have been looking at the spirit of man in the last
few weeks and trying to understand what the Bible says about the inner man that we do not see but we know is a vital part
of our being. Kenneth Hagin used to teach that you are a spirit, have a soul and live in a body. YOU are not your body. The
focus we have while on earth has everything to do with these mortal bodies. We exercise these bodies, feed them, pray
for them and use them to go from place to place. When I interact with a person I speak to them and they respond by speaking
back. I use words and respond in part by the body language associated with those words that are said. Our whole interaction
with others is expressed through our bodies so it is hard to not see ourselves as having a body but not being your body.
This series is on the gifts of the spirit and when we connect the importance
of your spirit with the gifts of the Spirit of God then we are able to understand how to relate to God better and how to relate
to others better. Learning how to hear the Spirit is an integral part of growing in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. If
you will go to the sermons and read them you will find instruction on how these gifts interact with each other. It is an introduction
of how to walk in these gifts but it is not a complete teaching telling you everything about these gifts. I cannot tell you
everything about these gifts because if I do then I will not be able to speak on other subjects and besides I do not know
everything about everything, only God knows that. God wants us to walk
by faith. We are to take a step and then once we take a step then the answer comes. IN the Indiana Jones movies, there was
a scene where Harrison Ford had to go through these challenges to get to the Holy Grail so that the water could heal his father.
There was this one test where he had to take a step where no bridge existed to cross this great chasm. He took a long step
and when his foot landed the bridge appeared. He was required to take a step of faith.The bridge was there all the time but
because of the reflective material you could not see it. We take steps of faith and sometimes we cannot find a reason
for taking those steps and other times it seems crazy to do so, but when you step in faith the answer always comes.
When God bids you to come then get out of the boat without fear or trembling.
Trust that God said it and that is enough. BE sure that it is God doing the speaking but once He says something to do no matter
how ridiculous or senseless it seems, do it. The Bible says that Isaiah walked naked for 3 1/2 years, Hosea was told go marry
that whore, Ezekiel saw strange things in the sky, and John the Baptist ate locusts and wild honey. The Bible is filled with
God telling people to do things that seem to be out in left field. God many times does not say things that make sense, for
if He did then we would not need to believe him. Would you walk naked, marry a whore or eat locusts and say loudly for all
to hear that God told you to do this? We are okay with God telling us to do sensible things but not things that seem to go
against the grain. Walking by faith is not just trusting God for your needs, it is also knowing that when God says something
even if it is outlandish that does not make it any less God. It is knowing that when God speaks, no matter what it is that
obeying God brings great reward. Trust God no matter what.

weekly message from the Pastor
Dear Friends,
The last 4 weeks I have been dealing with the topic of the person of God. I do believe that God is a person,and there is more
there then what I said in the person of God mini series( I pray it blessed you). I have been trying to connect that with
the teaching that I have done on the gifts of the Spirit and I have 4 more weeks after this week to finish that teaching.
So I need to move on in this mini-series as well. This week I would like to discuss that God is a creator who used Himself
to create. I have read that God uses sounds to create but I believe that God used light to create. God is light for He is
defined as a fire from his loins up and a fire from his loins down. God is light and He has been described as a blue light
from those that visited Heaven and returned. God used light to create. He created all things from His glory and for his glory. If you do not
have Jesus in you then there is a longing for Him, because that longing was put there by God. You were created for God to
fellowship with. God made Adam the god of this world because He wanted someone He could fellowship with so he made someone
to rule over this world. The angel He had given this world to had fallen so when he re-created this world then He needed
a new ruler. HE pro-created for Adam was his child. ( Gen 5:2 says that when they were created both the
man and woman they were both called Adam, so I am not implying that God only gave it to men, but women also) You were created for fellowship. God wanted
fellowship with his creation. He could not have fellowship with the angels for they were servants and He needed someone
on equal footing to be able to fellowship with Him like He wanted. He created joint heirs. God re-created everything
and God created Man so that He could have a family. Once Jesus is in you then you are part of God's Family.
We used to sing that song I'm so glad I'm a part of the family of God. This is what the new birth and new covenant and all the things in the
new testament are about. God is trying to restore fellowship with His family. God longs for the day when the family
will be reunited. We call it a rapture but God thinks of it as Reunion day! The teaching about God being a
person is culminated in this: God wants a family. We will look at the idea that you are a spirit in the next 4 weeks in the sermons
a little bit, but next week in the blog I will continue the idea of being part of the family of God. Go to our salvation page so you can
become a part of the family of God(unless you have done so already) and if you are becoming a part of this family for the first
time then contact us and we will help you so you can grow in the knowledge of this new family for it is unlike
any family you have ever been in. So become a part of His family before the day comes when Jesus comes to take us
home so we can participate in God's reunion party( only family members invited- it takes place in Heaven - this event
is called the rapture and it will come soon)
