Dear Friends,
We are approaching the unofficial end of Summer with the arrival of Labor Day. The Jewish nation has many fall feasts coming up in September and October and this promises to be a turbulent time for all as another as we undergo another Presidential campaign. We here at Word of Grace will not endorse Political candidates but encourage you to pray before you vote and let God guide you as you listen to your heart with what the Spirit says to you.
I also pray that you are being uplifted by the series we are doing on the Inheritance of the saints and we should finish that by the end of the year God willing. We will be looking at Sanctification for the rest of the month of September and hope that it will give you a new insight into what that means and how to apply it to your life. We have many things available for you on this site that you can glean from. The prophecy page, blog, Asst Pastors page, Recent Sermon are all regularly updated by what the Spirit says to us. Listen with your heart and not with your senses. Do not let your emotions guide you or let your mind be your navigator. Let the Spirit guide you. Take the time to study what you read here for the words of God are words of Spirit and they are life to those that receive them. Jn 6:63. May God cause you to receive words of Grace that will help you apply the word of God into your life in a new way and be refreshed by His spirit.
You are important to us and we want to hear what is going on with you. We want to hear your comments whether they be prayer requests, suggestions or things you want explained from our sermons. We are here to serve those that God sends to us. Help us by telling others about us and if you are in the Springfield NJ area then come by and visit with us at the Springfield YMCA where we meet and we would love to meet you. Share our website with others - www.wordofgracefellowship.com and let us bless you with the words of grace as the Apostle Paul exhorted us to preach in Acts 20:32.
Blessings, grace ane mercy to you in Jesus name,

Dear Friends and Visitors,
Tell me what does it mean to be God's. You belong to God and HE belongs to you. You are one with God. You are His body. We say that but do we really feel like we are His hands and feet. Do you really see that when you help someone or give a word of encouragement that it is God doing it through you or do we consider that it is us doing it and hoping that God will bless it. Do we have assurance that God is really inside of us or do we think that is only when we get our glorified bodies?
How real to us is the Bible? When you read a promise of God is it more sure to you then the floor you stand on, or is what you see more sure then the Word that God has given to you. Which has more value to you? Over the next month we will look at the value we have to God and how we should value God. We will be looking at the concept of sanctification and letting the Bible explain to us what it means. To many this is a religious word that does not mean much in our modern world. We really do not have a simple definition of it for there are so many ways it is defined and that depends on what church you go to.
I did not go to books and read about what it means except to see how the Greek English and Hebrew words  define it. I think that you will enjoy what you read or hear. I think that it is important that we go to the Bible and let the Bible define what the Bible says. Let God explain to us what HE means so that we can understand better what is said.
We want to hear from you! So feel free to ask us questions if you do not understand what was meant or if you  what something defined better? Or send us your prayer requests. We are here to help you grow in grace and to receive God's grace in your life and would love to hear from you. We want to get your feedback and want to see how we have been able to be a blessing in your life. As the Lord has blessed you then feel free to bless us with your finances.
Spend time looking through this site and seeing how the whole site can minister to you. Go to our 5 areas that are changed weekly, Sermon, Asst Pastor message, blog, prophecy  and ministry letter.Let these words bless you! Go in grace and peace and go giving to others from the mercy you received here. Go in God

Dear Friends and Visitors,
what is the Lord doing in your life? I ask this question because so many times we do not see God moving in our life? We do not see the miracles and because of that we think that God does not hear us. For the last few weeks in the sermons on Righteousness I have been looking at Job. Job was a man that went through more then most in his life and felt that God abandoned him. Is your situation worse then Job who lost his wife, children, health, wealth and even his friends condemned him. HE lost it all and wanted to talk to God face to face but did not know how. Jesus had not yet come.
Job lived before the law because Job was the son of Issachar, son of Jacob, son of Isaac, son of Abraham. He lived in the age of the Patriachs and did not have a written Bible or did not anyone who God lived inside of because God did not live in people then. His time was much different then ours is today. Even if you have it bad God lives inside of you( if you are born again- if not visit our salvation page) You have it better then Job even if you lost it all like he did for God speaks to you through His word and through the Holy Spirit that resides in His saints.
Today we think that since we do not see God then He must not exist. We want physical proof of God and are in an age where we value science and arguments more then faith. There is a blessing that is given to those that beleive without seeing. There is something that God does inside someone who believes before they see. No matter what it is that you need from God believe it deep in your heart and speak out what you beleive and then you will  have it. Do not speak your fear, do not speak what you already see but speak what your heart inside believes. I believe my spouse is good to me and the kids and loves me. I beleive that God is for me even though I may not see it. I beleive that I am blessed because God says so. I believe that I will not lose this car or house or child for the Lord God lives in me and HE will sustain me. Greater is He that is in you then He that is in the world.
When the rapture happens it does not matter what you are doing or where you are. if you belong to Jesus you are going. There are no wait a minute Lord let me finish this or that! When God speaks it happens. You have God's faith in you and God loves you so much that God sent his son to die for you! How many parents will sacrifice their only child so a serial killer can go free! God did!  God did not just pay for the sins of the ones who receive him but he paid for the sins of the ones who reject him. The only sin that prevents you from going to heaven is the sin of rejecting the only begotten Son of God! The rest were paid for at the cross of Jesus Christ! So recieve Him today!

Dear Friends,
Jesus did something wonderful for us. He died for us so that we might be right with God. God made us righteous in His sight because Jesus took our place and we were given what Jesus earned. Jesus took the punishment for what we deserved and we were given the reward for what he earned. That is Christianity 101. That is so simple and yet it so hard for so many to comprehend. Our focus must not be on what we do but on what He did, The focus is Jesus. God wants us to understand that God is not mad at us. Religion makes us think that God is mad at us but Jesus took all of God's wrath for us. There is no more wrath for us who are born again.
I pray that you are receiving this good news. I pray that you will accept this word and that you will want to hear more about this simple message. This message is about Gods work for us and not about our work in striving to perfect ourselves so that God will be okay with us. I encourage you to do good deeds but do not do them out of obligation to pay God back for your salvation. God did not give you a loan. He gave you a gift. IF someone gives you a gift then do not want payment, They will make the payment they just want you to enjoy it. When you get a loan you are expected to pay it back with interest. Religion teaches as if God gave you a loan; God says I gave you a gift so go and share it with others. God is pleased with you, so  use your gift. Use it to bless others. Use it to show that Jesus is alive and that he lives in you! This is the message of God that we need to share! Go in Grace! Go in love!
Feel free to go to the rest of the pages here to see what else God gave us to share with others this week so that you can be blessed. Read it and meditate on it so that you may grow in grace and bless those that God gave you to bless! Give them our website link- www.wordofgracefellowship.com Bless us! We may not mention our needs but that does not mean we do not have them. Ask God how you can bless us!  Bless those that blessed you today!

This is from the writings of our Founding Pastor John Hogan. He wrote one article entitled the Spirit of Truth and we will be putting an excerpt from it for this blog. This article is very special for it was given out to all the founding  members of our church

Jesus said in John 8:31,32. If you continue in my Word then are you my disciples indeed. AND YOU SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH AND THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE! We now know that Jesus is the TRUTH and in verse 36, Jesus tells us that: "IF THE SON THEREFORE SHALL MAKE YOU FREE, YOU SHALL BE FREE INDEED!"
 1. FREE from the works of the law
 2. FREE from trying to earn your way into heaven
 3. FREE from trying to be good enough, and righteous enough to be accepted by God
 4. FREE from the dominion of sin- Romans 6:14 says: for sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under GRACE.
 5. Sin, sickness, poverty and the grave no longer have dominion over us. (even if we do die before Jesus returns, we are going to come out of that grave)
 6. FREE from ALL THE CURSES OF THE LAW
Jesus was made the curses in order that we might inherit the blessings! If you really are interested to see what Jesus freed you from then read the curses in Deuteronomy 28 verses 15-68. They are all there in specific graphic awful detail. Maybe it would help us to be more appreciative of what Jesus' Freedom really means to us! Jesus is the Truth and Jesus as truth will make us free . If we do what?
John 8, verse 31 says, the truth will make us free if we do what?

ABIDE in Jesus' Word
STAY in Jesus' Word
LIVE  in Jesus' Word
MAKE  Jesus' Word our abode

We are honored that you are visiting our web site.
We are a non- traditional church.
As such  we are always looking for new ways of getting the Gospel of grace out to new people as well as to those who currently are a part of this Fellowship.

This web site allows us to reach people we may never have been able to contact before. Everyone is welcome to attend our services, or outreach programs which include; counseling services, prayer requests, spiritual healing, spiritual warfare, and  bible study,

Please use this site to access the information you need about the church and as a resource for broadening your faith. We look forward to hearing from you and answering any questions you might have.

Welcome to Word of Grace Fellowship Ministries!
Here we are dedicated to the ministry of the gospel of grace and to teach that one who is born again has been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. We teach the uncompromising word of grace and righteousness. Right now we are more of a fellowship of like-minded believers whose lives have been changed by the message of grace then a church. God has been a source of constant strength and comfort to us, as He continues to separate us from the mindset of traditional Christianity.
As you go through our pages remember that God's focus is what did Jesus do, not what would Jesus do. Jesus came to die so that by His death we could be made right with God. Once we were made right with God then God could come to live in us so we could be made one body with Jesus. God finds no fault in us, for when He sees us He sees Jesus. This is the reality of who we are as a new man in Jesus Christ.
We at Word of Grace believe that God includes women in the ministry and that God has given to every born again child of his the ministry of reconciliation, to go and bring in the lost to the kingdom of God.
We pray that as you read these pages that you will be ministered to and want to know more about us. Please feel free to contact us for we would welcome the opportunity to minister God's grace to you. May you learn about His grace and grow in the knowledge of righteousness, so that you too can walk in the freedom of Jesus Christ!
