Let me ask you a question. Do you think that you will soon have the blessing that you want
in your life? Do you think that you are happy with your life? Are you happy with what you have seen in your life in
ministering for the Lord, or do you want to do more for the Lord? I ask these
questions because I want you to be happy with what you have and with God in your life. We have been talking about God and
his character lately and now we are focusing on what HE gives to us. It is important to know who he is and what we have
because of Jesus but it is also important to know what HE gives to us. You have a blessing from God because of what
Jesus did for you and not because of what you did to earn it. Your ability to be blessed is not because you kept enough
of the law or that you are so holy. You cannot keep the whole law, for if you could then Jesus would not have died.
Jesus came not for the righteous, but for the sinner, so if you received Jesus then it is because you were not good enough
in your flesh. You cannot keep yourself in your flesh either, for if you could then Christ died in vain. So all of this focus is about you giving to others, for that is the main reason God gave to you. Do
not focus on what you lack, but focus on whose you are, and then you will not have that lack for God will pour out
his love to you! Pastor

How many of us think we need more of God in our life? Do you think that God is pleased with you just the way you
are or are you finding faults with your life and trying to correct your flesh? I want you to know that God thought
so highly of your flesh that He crucified it on Calvary. You were crucified with Christ so when he died you died. You died
with Him long ago. Why do we think that we need to perfect this flesh when God says he will give us a new heart and a new
life. Let me ask you what is the basis for your blessing? Do you think that the job you
have is your source? Your job is the source of blessing God gave to you but it is not your source of blessing. It is a source
you can draw on to bless others by, but the true source is Jesus Christ. HE is the one from whom all blessings flow. From
his throne flow all blessings and life. So let us focus on what we have not because of how good we are or how great we are
but because of how Great God Is. Today we begin the 3rd part of God's Character: Blessing. We
start to focus on what we have because of the relationship we have with God. I encourage you to bless others because of
the relationship you have with Jesus and not because of what you have or do not have. Do not let your finances
determine whether you will bless someone, instead bless someone because of what God did for you in Jesus. Let God lead and
direct you and He will keep you. God will keep you for He loves you and no weapon formed against you will prosper.

Let me ask you what is compassion? Compassion is something that we do not always have, or
we have it for some but not others. I hear alot about the Haitian people who need compassion but not much about Chile
or Japan or Turkey and they all had major earthquakes and they all have need. The Haitians receive the compassion but
the others are not mentioned and do not recieve the level of compassion that they should. Our compassion is scaled. This
one deserved more compassion. Jesus came to show that God is love and
that God is a Father. Before Jesus came, no one called God their Father. God is now revealed and everyone says
that God is the Father and there is a doctrine of the Fatherhood of God for all men. God says we must believe in
Him but He came to give Compassion by becoming our sacrifice. IF
you need healing - he paid the price. IF you need your sins forgiven - He became your sin. If you need a right relationship
with God - He gave you His righteousness. IF you need to feel love- He gave His love to you. He gave you all He has and He
provided for you the things you need so you can be right with God. He did not give to you because of who you were but
because of His goodness. He gave to you because He loves you and that alone made you worthy of compassion. Compassion
does not come to people because of what they do, but simply because they need! I
pray that you will recieve from us all that we put on here, and take it to heart and be blessed by it. I want you to take
what you hear and apply it. Share the site and tell others about it. Give them this link- www.wordofgracefellowship.com but most of all give them Jesus! Tell us what happens and when you do send us an email at wordofgracefellowship@yahoo.com. Come and visit us on Sunday Mornings @ 11AM at the Springfield YMCA and as God leads
you send us the money He tells you to send to so we can help those who live in the nations that are calling us. Help
us go to the world - our mailing address is : Word of Grace Fellowship Box 225 Springfield

Today we celebrate Easter and the risen Lord. So many churches focus on the resurrection but that should
be every week and not just once in a while. Our focus should be on the resurrection and not just once a year but every
day. Today Christians remember the sacrfice of Easter but they do not act as if it is for all their sins
and it was for one time. It was for all time and all our sin. It was a one time sacrifice. Jesus will never ever be sacrificed
again for He died once for all sin. He paid for all our sin and it was of so much value that God said it paid double
for all our sins. God puts a premium on hte Blood of Jesus, but the church puts a premium on their
confession and deeds. They want to put the focus on what they do rather then on what Jesus did for they want to
feel they can do something about their salvation. We do not want to feel like there is nothing we can do
about it. We want to do something to keep our salvation even if we intellectually understand that we can not earn,
emotionally we want to earn at least part of it. So although you will go to church and say that it
is all about Jesus remember to focus solely focus on Him and to examine yourself and not focus on you for salvation.
The reason you have a relationship with God is not because you were so good but because God is so good to you. The
glory of God is in showing who Jesus is and what He did for you. Jesus rose from the dead and when HE did you got all
that He deserved. He took all you deserved and you received all He deserved. HE was made your sin and you were made
His righteousness. You and Him exchanged places and God still blesses you because of Jesus, for nothing can change
this plan of salvation and it does not matter, whether we are talking about being saved, healed, delivered or set free- IT
is all about JESUS! Pastor Don
