Hi friends,
Do you like the snow we have been getting? There has been a lot this year and each year the weather is different. The problem
is that we no longer can know what to expect from season to season. Life brings us many changes and this year it seems
that snow has been coming weekly in the NJ area. It seems that we have more and more snow. The weather is so hard for we
constantly have to shovel out and there have been so many days we have had snow and it seems like it never ends.
As we study the reasons for the weapons one of them is to cast down imaginations, so we
can get rid of the problems that face us, those that come out of a false imagination. The problems that we have come out
of our mind and how we deal with others because of our way of thinking and believing. It is important that our mind help
us see beyond the problems and see that God is there and will take care of us no matter what comes our way for God
is for us. God is love and cares for you so do not focus on your problems for God will not fail you.
Cast down the evil imaginations for they bring you ideas that bring you away from
God. I notice that when it says to cast down imaginations, that the word imaginations always refers to evil imaginations
and not positive or good ones. When you look up that the word imagination you see teh connection between that and evil
that is done. A good example of that is the tower of Babel. They would imagine many things and nothing would be impossible
to them. I encourage you to consider what you can do for God and how God can
bless you in the lives of others. Use your imaginations in a positive way. No inventor can do so without having an imagination
for inventors are always inquisitive and want to know how this or that works. They have to figure things out and desire to
find new ways to do things. Albert Einstein said imagination is more important then knowledge and that is why it was so
important. SO use your imagination but use it for the kingdom of God and not against the kingdom! Pastor Don Carson

Friends of grace,
we are looking at a new series where we we focus on the reasons for why we have these weapons and trying to demonstrate
that. Today we see so many things wrong in our lives and live in a world with weapons of mass destruction evident among
us for our world changed first since Pearl Harbor and when America used a nuclear weapon against Japan and now
it changed again since 9/11 which has been renamed Patriot Day. It is hard to not be changed since we saw that and the word
terrorist has become part of our reality, even though they were there before but we never saw it that way or defined it
with that one word. We first look at 4 reasons for the weapons of the
NT weapons of the believer. God has not left you even though we feel like no one cares for we do not see God active in our
life and focus on all the bad things going on for all we hear going on around is the bad news, since the news does
not report the good things going on around us. God is doing good things and wants us to be a part of it. We want
to hear about what God does in your life for God is for you and wants to help you destroy strongholds of the devil, for the
devil does not want Jesus to have a strong hold on your life. God wants the Holy Ghost to have a strong hold on you so the
devil cannot get to you. God lives in you and when He is in you the devil cannot have the hold on you that he could of people
in the OT. So let us realize that God is no longer mad at us and that God really loves us no matter what is going on in
our lives and that it really is not based on what on what we see but on what we believe.

I want to ask you a question- will you be able to use weapons to defeat an enemy, do you
feel the devil is stronger then you? Are you a slave to your desires and unable to overcome in your life? Do you
not have what you need in your life? There are so many things that are part of what makes us into who
we are and all our experiences. We need to be able to feel that we are not helpless but that God is with us even
though we cannot see Him. Sometimes we wonder where is God for the answers we want do not seem to be coming, or if
they do come they are not the answers we seek. We want to
discuss our weapons so that do not feel alone and helpless for too often we do feel that way. It is so easy to feel alone
when our needs are not met and we need money that we do not have. I know that people want money from us and when we cannot
supply they will not answer us. They seek answers and when we cannot give what they want then they leave us so
at times we feel unable to help and that hurts for we are not there for the reasons we think. God wants us to reach
people and to have a connection with them. It is not just about speaking words but about reaching their hearts with the love
from the heart. The answers come from the heart of God to the heart of man!

Friends,
It is important that we know how to defend ourselves against those that come against us. Jesus defeated our enemies so it
is not a matter of us having to defeat them again and again. We just need to remind them of the fact that they were defeated,
and we have many weapons to help us stay in fellowship while they are trying to defeat us. The weapons we have are so we
can go and tell them for we are to tell them whose we are and what we have. This is to help us remember what Jesus
did and to remind God of His Word. God wants to be reminded of what He said, not because HE forgets but because He wants
to hear you say what He did for Him. He loves to hear his children remind him of his promises. A parent will do for their
child, when the parent is reminded of their promises, and God will always keep His Word. So this year you will need these weapons and I pray that you will know how to use to them, and
the purpose for them, so you can walk in victory and that you can have health and prosperity in all you do in 2011!

Dear Friends,
We are ready to start a new year and many focus on what we need to do like make new years resolutions and correct ourselves,
trying to make our lives better. Our focus is on what we can do to improve our life for we have so many problems so we try
to fix it. We know our lives need fixing and freely admit it. We go to God but so many do not do not really trust that even
God can fix it, and even if He can surely we should do something to help for it is our life.
We are starting a new year so on one hand we have a new start, but we still have all our problems so the year is not really
new. We sing the songs but inside we feel the problems and know we never really do get through the problems to they are gone.
This sermon is about what God did to help you have a new beginning for the help
we really need is from what God did to make us new on the inside. He wants us to know that He loves us and the price was
paid on Calvary. The love God showed was not just 2,000 years ago but it shown in our lives daily when we are willing to
let go and turn it over to him. He took our sin away and wants to bury it not only from our life but also from our mindset.
He wants us to live free from the sin that so easily besets us. God thinks you are worth His Son. I pray that this sermon
will help free you from the bondages that have power over you, so you can be free and enter a new year without the problems
you had last year and that this year will be better then last. May you have
