Dear Friends,
Today we celebrate Easter Sunday to remind ourselves of the fact that Jesus rose from the dead. Christians started to celebrate
that on every Sunday for each Sunday was a reminder that Jesus arose, not just on Easter. That first Sunday it was hard
to believe that Jesus arose for they lived with Him and saw him teach each day and knew that He died for they saw Him die
on a cross with shame and buried in a borrowed tomb. They did not even have the time to complete the proper burial procedure
so they were not happy he was not buried in a proper way and if you read the writings they were concerned about this. They
knew that no one rose from the dead even though they saw Jesus bring the dead back to life on numerous occasions and they
knew that no one could rise up without someone who had the same power He had and how would he come back to life for the
Master was dead. Their hopes died with them. They were afraid they would soon die for the Jewish leaders would go after
them next. So they mourned not only for Jesus but also for themselves.
SO when He arose the hope they had rose within them for they knew that Jesus was not just a Master but God himself. They
realized that God had done a great miracle and that God was with them. Something wonderful had happened and it changed their
life so much they would go out and teach about the wonderful news for nothing could constrain them for up from the grave
He arose. They had no choice but to go and tell for they were constrained with compassion to tell and they want where ever
they could to tell others about Him for they had to tell somebody. The resurrection made them tell someone for their
desire to share that news became so great they were so happy to tell someone that it overwhelmed them with the great news
that the Holy Spirit used them even though they became martyrs for Christ because the love they had for Jesus. God loves
you so much that God took your sin and made you His righteousness even though it cost Him - Jesus Christ his only Son.
So when you celebrate Easter let the joy of your salvation become as great as the
original joy that the joy the disciples had that first Easter. Go and tell someone that God is for you and that joy will
also consume you as it did them. Go and tell someone for God wants you to share that love you have in you as they also did.
GO and tell someone for God is the one who felt you were worth the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross and raised him from

Dear Friends,
Do you want to do nothing but lay down palms and praise Jesus for you know if you do not then the very stones will praise
Him. Do you focus on being in the spirit so much that you love God so much that nothing in this life will phase me and you
will be loved and love so much that satan wont be able to defeat you? This is the Day we recall that Jesus is
so worthy that all of nature will praise Him for there is nothing in creation that will not praise Him. God wants
you to praise Him for you have a choice, but the rest of creation must praise Him. They desire to praise Him for they
though affected by mans sin are not created like we are. God loved
you so much that He died for you but all of creation is waiting for your redemption. They will not be restored
until you are! God things you are so valuable that nothing in creation is able to be restored until He does it for his most
valuable creation- mankind! So when you read this story about Jesus being praised, then realise that Jesus
accepted praise not because of his ego but because of the value it puts on his creation when they have a chance to become
praisers of God! So praise God if not with palm branches, then with your voice no matter what it sounds like!

Dear friends,
Today we are preparing to get ready for the celebration of Easter. Easter is when we remember the resurrection and when
we remember what God did for us. You cannot remember Jesus without recalling all that HE did. So we get ready
for Easter and put up our eggs and dye them but train our children to focus on the Easter bunny and Easter hunts and they
are so focused on what is going on with the commercial Easter that we forget that Jesus did it all for us.
Jesus is not the Easter bunny, Jesus is the Savior. Jesus brought us to God
and HE lives within us. Jesus is our answer to our sin debt and lives in us forever. Focus on the glory that shines
in the face of Jesus. Focus on the glory of God, for when we do then we can see ourselves in the glory God has for us.
God is pleased with us. God is pleased with you because HE sees you according to His love and not according to your
works, for your flesh is not where our answers are. Our answers are in what was done at the cross. The cross and all
that provided at Calvary is where we have what God's response to the human condition. Jesus became your sin, bore
your sickness and disease and carried your sorrows and grief so that you could not only be right with God but be delivered
from all the issues that sin caused! The Spiritual Word ( S- Word) or
Sword of God is the Word and it will keep you for God will not ever leave you or forsake you. He wants to be with
you and wanted to be with you so much He died for you - so love Him and use his word to change your life and those
of others.

Dear friends,
Do you need encouragement or strength - are you depressed? We all need things in our life and wish things were different
in our lfe. The Bible is filled with people who had problems and needed God to be there for them, and He was!
God is there for you and never will leave you no matter what for He promised you He would be there! You can go to so many
examples in the Bible who were men and women of faith that God did miraculous things for, and we say what about me? We need
to see God move our red Seas and the giants in our lives! Faith opens the door to seeing the blessings manifested in our
lives again and again!
Faith is called a shieldf or it quenches the fiery darts! No matter what the devil does he cannot defeat you for Jesus
won and He gave you his Name! Faith gives you the victory as the song says! Faith is for you, for you have Jesus faith!
You have the Lion of the Tribe of the Judah for your defender! God is your provider and your keeper! The issue is will you let God be your provider and defender or
will you try to defend yourself! If you try to defend yourself then you are saying God I do not need and you are not walking
by faith but by sight. But when you walk by faith you are saying God I need you and want to trust Him for
your provision so I encourage you to walk by Faith and not by sight today! Pastor Don Carson Word of Grace Fellowship
