This week is Memorial Day weekend where we remember those that died for us. Jesus
died for you and made you right with God so that you can have the benefits of the new covenant which enables you to
receive all the blessings of Deuteronomy 28. God wants you to be blessed for He is not mad at you. Too often we
see God as angry with us and not as being pleased with us. Today we will look at the life of Elijah and see the many
miracles that he did but he also had downs as well as ups. No one in the Bible was perfect in the flesh except
for Jesus and because of him God now sees you without any faults or failures- this is called the gospel of God and is
given to us by grace. Grace is not earned for it is a gift which God wants us to recieve so that we in turn can give
it to others. Grace keeps giving and giving and giving for it is an eternal gift from an eternal God. We are studying the weapons of God so that you can know that you have resources to enforce that
defeat of Satan. It is not enough to be made free but to maintain your freedom. Freedom cost a lot for it requires that
someone die so others can be made free. Men go to war to free a nation and to preserve the peace. Nations keep an army to
maintain peace for fear they might be attacked. God gave you weapons so that you might be able to stand against the wiles
of the devil, today we will look at the weapon of bold preaching ( chariots of fire) and how it was used in the OT.
So when we look back at the ones who died so that we can be made free remember to
look back at Jesus for he is the one who made you eternally free and gave you eternal gifts so you can walk in eternal redemption.
If you do not know Him then read our page on how to be saved and pray that prayer and contact us so that we can help
you grow in the new gift of salvaton that you recieved from God. Pastor Don Carson Word of Grace Fellowship

One of the most important things we need to do is to make people aware of who we are and where we are. I know that the
message we have is good but the problem is that so many do not know we are here. I want to make sure that people know
we are here and how they can get in touch with us. I believe that God gave us a mission to go into the world but that mission
cannot be accomplished if we do not make people aware of us. God gave us a good word so go and tell them and demonstrate
that word to others. Each year we have new challenges and this year the challenge is 1) to make sure
that people know we are here and to share that word with others. It is not enough to grow in the knowledge ourselves
but to make sure that we grow in how we share in that knowledge. I knew that something that was changing and I had to change
with it from the beginning of the year but I did not know what it was. God has something for us and we need to get
into the flow of His Spirit and walk with Him so we can get in his Spirit and let God do the leading for us and
through us. I encourage you to share with others this website and about this church, and to join
us on Sundays at 11 AM at the Springfield YMCA. May the Lord bless you for we do not get what we deserve but
we get Jesus earned! Pastor Don

This is the day that the Lord has made so let us rejoice and be glad in it. God is in all we do but sometimes we forget that
God is there and we try to let go of things by trying to do things ourselves. It is not in ourselves but in allowing God
to do things His way. He is the one who made all things and He is the way who keeps us. He is both our keeper and Savior
so when we allow God to be God and us to be us then things will work out well for us but when we try to be God then things
do not work out well for us. I admonish you Christian to stop trying to be something you are not. Be who God made you to
be and be the best you that you can be, for HE only made one of you, so you are unique in all the universe even
if someone else has your name - you are still the only you that exists. Too often we find no reason
to do things for we allow ourselves to get depressed with our lives and focus on our failures instead of allowing ourselves
to be who God made us to be. Let Go of our problems and let God be our provider. At the end of
June we will no longer be able to meet at the Springfield YMCA but will meet at a members house. Call for directions! 732-297-7794 Pastor Don Carson Word of Grace Fellowship

Today we celebrate Mothers Day so we focus on our Moms and the value of them in
our life. our message will not be on Mothers but it is Mothers Day. Mothers are important for they are so important
in our development since Dads are often at work and our mothers are there to nurture us and develop us into who we are.
Mothers give us our sense of love and understanding and Dads give us our sense of fairplay and are the ones who many
times punish us. Mothers cook and clean and wash us up and are there for us after school to kiss us to make it better.
Moms care for us in a special way and we need to feel their love. Moms help us feel and we need that in our life. Moms
do not only give birth to us but they make us feel their love throughout our life so they help us develop our
feelings for others. Today we will speak on the Sword of the Lord and the value of that sword. I want us to
know that it can divide and help us to divide the things that nothing else can. God wants us to know him in the power of
his love. He loves us and we need to know that love so it is appropriate that we speak of that sword today on the day
we also celebrate Moms for Moms represent the love of God to us.

Friends,
May 1, 2011
Today we want to remember what happened to Jesus and that means what happened to us. Jesus spent 40 days after the
Resurrection to train the disciples on what it meant in the New Covenant to the disciples. HE had spent over 3
years to demonstrate to the disciples what was written in the OT about Him and what the Bible said about Him and how they
can have this relationship with God who was also their father. God was not so distant but God was someone who wanted a relationship
with his creation. He came to be the substitute for his creation and they
had learned about Him as the Messiah, but they wondered was he the One. They still doubted about that even after He arose
from the dead. Today we still have those that doubt in their salvation, or in the provisions of that salvation, hoping that
what they read or told about is really true for what they see with their eyes and hear with their ears contradicts what
the Bible says but they want to believe it for it sounds so good. The gospel is the too good to be true gospel,
can it really be true! We will begin another part of this series about the
weapons for this is the 3rd section about weapons. We will begin about the OT weapons and today we will preach on
the introduction to that section. I encourage you to come for you will hear some things when I preach that you will not
hear in the sermon I write out. WIth every preacher when they speak under the anointing they say some things they
never thought of for God reveals to them while they are speaking, they did not know by study. So come and be blessed today
as we share about these weapons! Join us at the Springfield YMCA located at
100 S Springfield Ave in Springfield NJ 07081. We have directions on our website - www.wordofgracefellowship.com Pastor
